Confidentiality & Privacy Policy + Liability Waiver

1 Confidentiality Statement

We treat every conversation, document, and note as private.

• Need‑to‑know access only. Your files and session notes are viewable solely by the consultant(s) assigned to you.

• Encryption in transit & at rest. We use industry‑standard TLS/HTTPS for all web traffic and 256‑bit encryption on stored data.

• No medical records = no HIPAA. Because we do not provide medical services or retain protected health information (PHI), we are not a HIPAA‑covered entity. Even so, we voluntarily follow many HIPAA‑aligned security best practices.

• Disclosure exceptions. We will release information only (a) with your written permission, (b) if compelled by law or court order, or (c) when there is an immediate risk of serious harm.

3 Affiliate & Referral Links Disclosure

Occasionally we may recommend software, books, or productivity tools using clearly marked affiliate links. If you click and purchase, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. We only recommend items we genuinely find helpful for ADHD management and will always identify affiliate links with a “(affiliate)” tag or similar notice.

4 Waiver of Injury & Limitation of Liability

1. No medical, legal, or financial advice. All materials and sessions are for educational and strategic purposes. Always consult a licensed professional for medical, legal, or financial decisions.

2. Personal implementation is at your own risk. You are solely responsible for how you apply ideas, templates, or recommendations. Anchor & Atlas Strategies, its owners, contractors, and employees are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, injury, or damage arising from your use of our services or resources, including but not limited to:

   • Physical injury resulting from lifestyle changes (e.g., exercise regimens, ergonomic setups).

   • Emotional distress or mental‑health outcomes from implementing behavioral strategies.

   • Financial loss from business or productivity decisions made with or without our input.

3. Cap on damages. In all events, our maximum cumulative liability will not exceed the fees you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

4. Indemnification. By engaging our services, you agree to indemnify and hold Anchor & Atlas harmless from any claims or expenses (including attorneys’ fees) arising out of your actions or violation of these terms.

 

 

5 Updates & Acceptance

We may revise this policy periodically. The “Effective” date above will change, and the newest version will be posted on our website. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

By scheduling or attending a session, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this Confidentiality & Privacy Policy and Liability Waiver.

Referral Relationships & Third‑Party Services
Effective April 21 2025 (supersedes prior versions where inconsistent)

 

 

6 Referral Relationships (Professional Partners & Affiliate Kick‑Backs)

1. How Referrals Work

   • We may suggest outside providers—e.g., coaches, software platforms, accountants, or therapists—when we believe they fit your needs.

   • Some partners pay us a referral or affiliate fee (“kick‑back”) if you purchase their services. We will always disclose this in writing at the time of the referral (look for “(referral fee applies)” next to the provider name).

   • You are free to accept or decline any referral with zero impact on the quality or price of our own services.

2. Due Diligence Is Yours

   • We vet partners for basic credibility, but the ultimate decision to engage—and the responsibility for reviewing contracts, pricing, and service quality—rests with you.

   • Anchor & Atlas does not control, supervise, or guarantee the work of any third‑party provider.

3. Liability Waiver for Partnered Services

   • Any claim, dispute, injury, or loss arising from a referred provider’s actions is strictly between you and that provider.

   • You agree to hold Anchor & Atlas harmless and indemnify us against all liabilities or costs related to such third‑party engagements. Our total aggregate liability remains capped at the amount you paid directly to Anchor & Atlas, as stated in Section 4 of the core policy.

 

 

7 Government Aid & Public‑Benefit Assistance

1. Scope of Help

   • We may guide you through applications for programs like Medicaid, SNAP, or state disability waivers, including drafting paperwork checklists and coaching you on required documentation.

   • We are not a law firm, healthcare provider, or government agent. Assistance is educational; it does not create an attorney‑client or patient‑provider relationship.

2. No Guarantees

   • Eligibility decisions are made solely by the relevant agency. We cannot guarantee approval, benefit levels, or processing times.

3. Your Responsibility for Accuracy

   • You are responsible for reviewing all forms for accuracy and completeness before submission. Anchor & Atlas is not liable for denial or revocation of benefits resulting from inaccurate or incomplete information.

4. Waiver & Indemnity

   • By using our aid‑application guidance, you waive any claim against Anchor & Atlas for agency decisions, processing delays, or lost benefits.

   • You also agree to indemnify us from any costs or legal actions arising from your use or misuse of government aid guidance provided.

 

 

8 Policy Updates & Acceptance

Updates will appear at anchorandatlas.com/policy with a new “Effective” date. Continuing to use our services after an update signifies acceptance of the revised terms, including referral and government‑aid provisions.

By scheduling or attending a session after April 21 2025, you affirm that you have read, understood, and agree to Sections 1‑8 of the Anchor & Atlas Strategies Confidentiality, Privacy, and Liability Policy.
